Estimate terms
- Estimate only. The price shown is an indicative estimate generated automatically from the information you provide and satellite imagery. It is not a quote, an offer or a contract, and Built Roofing Pty Ltd is not bound by it.
- Subject to on-site measure and inspection. Your final price will be confirmed in a written quote after a free on-site measure and inspection. The final price may be higher or lower than this estimate.
- Measurements. Roof areas worked out from satellite imagery or sizes you enter are approximate. Imagery may be out of date, unclear or not show the whole roof, and roof pitch, valleys, hips and access can only be confirmed on site.
- What’s not included. Unless listed in your written quote, the estimate does not include: structural, framing or carpentry repairs; replacement of rotten or damaged battens, fascia or timber; removal or disposal of asbestos or other hazardous materials (which must be handled by a licensed removalist); electrical, plumbing or solar work beyond the listed solar panel removal and refit; gutters, downpipes, insulation or ceiling repairs; council, engineering or certification fees; and work needed because of hidden defects found during the job.
- Solar panels. The solar removal and refit price assumes a standard residential system in working order. Any electrical work is carried out by a licensed electrician. We aren’t responsible for the condition, performance or warranty of existing solar equipment.
- Prices. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Estimates are based on current material and labour costs and may change if supplier prices change before a written quote is accepted.
- Written contract. Work only goes ahead under a written quote and contract that complies with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (QBCC Licence 1175919). That contract’s terms replace this estimate.
- Your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
- Your details. We use the details you provide to prepare your estimate and contact you about your roof, as set out in our privacy policy.
