What we collect

When you request a quote or inspection, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the service you need, whether it is an insurance claim, and any message you write. When you apply for a job, we collect your name, phone number, your answers about roofing experience, transport, white card and working at heights, and any comments.

We also collect anonymous information about how people use this website through Google Analytics (see below).

How we use it

To contact you about your quote, inspection, roofing job or insurance claim.
To consider your job application and contact you about work.
To understand which pages and services people are interested in, so we can improve the website.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t send marketing emails without your permission. We may share job details with your insurer or their assessor when you ask us to help with a claim.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are emailed to us and stored in our Google Workspace account (Gmail and Google Sheets), which is protected by Google’s security. Only Built Roofing staff can access it. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them for the job, our records and our legal obligations.

Google Analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics, which places cookies in your browser to count visits and see how people find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether a quote form was sent or a phone number was tapped. This information is aggregated and doesn’t identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Accessing or correcting your information
