Hail damage roof repairs & insurance reports.
Queensland storms can do serious damage in minutes. We inspect, make safe and repair hail-damaged roofs, and give you the report your insurer needs.
Signs your roof has hail damage
A lot of hail damage can’t be seen from the ground. After a storm, look out for:
- Dents, creases or cracked paint on metal roof sheets
- Cracked or broken roof tiles and ridge capping
- Damaged or lifted flashings around chimneys, vents and skylights
- Dented gutters, downpipes and air-conditioner covers
- New leaks, damp patches or water stains on ceilings
- Granules, tile chips or debris collecting in gutters
If you notice any of these, book an inspection before the next rain. Small cracks and lifted sheets can let water into the roof space and ceilings.
What we do after a storm
Make-safe
Where there’s active leaking, we carry out temporary make-safe work to keep the weather out until permanent repairs can be done.
Inspection and damage report
We inspect the whole roof, photograph all damage and prepare a clear written report with an itemised quote for your insurance claim.
Repairs or full replacement
If damage is localised, we replace the affected sheets, tiles, flashings or gutters. If it’s widespread, a full re-roof in Colorbond is often the better long-term fix, and is commonly approved by insurers.
Help with your insurance claim
Lodge your claim with your insurer as soon as you can after the storm. We’ll provide the photos, report and quote, and can meet the assessor on site to walk through the damage. Every policy is different, so your insurer makes the final call on what’s covered.
Let’s get your roof sorted.
Tell us a little about the job and we’ll get back to you, usually the same day. For storm damage or leaks, calling is fastest.
